SunPak S25 Black patio heater, 25,000 BTU, manufactured by Infrared Dynamics. Includes mounting kit & transformer. SunPak is the most popular wall/ceiling mount gas outdoor patio heater on the market, and they are manufactured right here in California. We like the SunPak S25 patio heater in applications where the bottom of the heater will be between 7½' and 8½' high. If you are mounting the S25 under a flammable ceiling then the ceiling will need to be at least 9' high to even consider mounting a SunPak 25,000 BTU patio heater, and at least 9½' high to mount the heater tilted at an angle. If you do not have those minimum clearances then consider purchasing and installing electric heaters. In new installations you will need a transformer to reduce the voltage to the heater to 24 volts. In new installations you will need a mounting kit. If you are replacing an existing heater you don't need a mounting kit.

SunPak stock mounting kits, shown here in exploded view have a 6" x ¾" footprint, where they mount to the wall or ceiling.

SunPak is the most popular wall/ceiling mount gas outdoor patio heater on the market, and they are manufactured right here in California. We like the SunPak S34S patio heater in applications where the bottom of the heater will be between 8' and 9½' high. If you are mounting the S34S under a flammable ceiling then the ceiling will need to be at least 10' high to even consider mounting a SunPak 34,000 BTU patio heater, and at least 10½' high to mount the heater tilted at an angle. If you do not have those minimum clearances then consider purchasing and installing a SunPak S25S In new installations you will need a transformer to reduce the voltage to the heater to 24 volts. In new installations you will need a mounting kit. If you are replacing an existing heater you don't need a mounting kit.

SunPak stock mounting kits, shown here in exploded view have a 6" x ¾" footprint, where they mount to the wall or ceiling.

Custom Strut Channel Mounting Kits work well with SunPak and have a 2" wide x 4-5/8" footprint, which makes them useful for hanging from 3x and 4x beams.

Channel Controls Ignition Module Kit 90080 / 12014-24 (Replaces 90051 / 90051-1 / RAM-3) for all Infrared Dynamics SunPak S25 and S34 patio heaters. The ignition module is the part we most often replace on SunPak heaters. This part is very easy to replace. Infrared Dynamics has used three different ignition modules on SunPak heaters over the past few years. The grey, RAM-3 modules and the grey, Synetec modules are no longer availabe. If you currently have an enclosed gray module, then you will need to replace the wiring harness as well to use the new open black module.
